B The caliper survey shall become the property of the City at the time the logging is <br /> completed Provide a copy of the caliper log to the Engineer upon completion of <br /> caliper logging Provide the City with five copies of each caliper survey and one <br /> reproducible original at no additional cost Provide the copies of the caliper survey <br /> within five days after the survey is completed <br /> C Provide whatever assistance may be required to accomplish the caliper survey <br /> There will be no additional payment for rig time or idle time while the survey is <br /> being run <br /> D If the survey shows the hole to be less than the specified diameter at any point or <br /> the hole is less than the specified depth, reream the hole or redrill and resurvey If <br /> corrective measures are required, provide and pay for all corrective measures and <br /> additional caliper surveys required by Engineer <br /> i <br /> SECTION 14— 18" WELL CASING AND SCREEN, 4" GRAVEL FEED PIPE, 4" <br /> SOUNDING PIPE & 4" INJECTION LINES (Bid Item No s A9, B9, A10, 1310, A11, B11, <br /> Al2, B12, A13 & B13) <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 101 DESCRIPTION <br /> This section includes materials and installation of the 18" blank well casing, 18" screen, <br /> permanent 4" gravel feed tube, 4" infection lines, and 4" sounding pipe <br /> 1 02 SUBMITTALS <br /> A Submit certified test reports of blank well casing and other pipe to the Engineer <br /> to show compliance with both the physical and chemical properties of the <br /> stainless steel <br /> B Submit certified test reports of louvered well screen to the Engineer to show <br /> compliance with both the physical and chemical properties of the stainless steel <br /> 1 03 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> A All work required to be repeated and all additional materials, labor, and <br /> equipment required shall be furnished at the expense of the Contractor, and no <br /> claim for additional compensation shall be allowed therefore, except as <br /> specifically provided herein <br /> B 18" Well Blank Casing shall be measured on a linear foot basis, as determined <br /> by length measurements Measurement will be based on the actual number of <br /> vertical lineal feet of Well Blank Casing installed, measured from the surface, <br /> plus the required stickup but, exclusive of louvered well screen The contract <br /> unit price paid for 18" Well Blank Casing (Bid Item No s A9 & B9) shall include <br /> full compensation for conforming to these requirements, furnishing all the labor, <br /> materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work involved in 18" <br /> Well Blank Casing, including furnishing and installing of centralizers, complete in <br /> place, as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions and <br /> as directed by the Engineer and no additional compensation will be allowed <br /> August 2001 Division 111 -21 Ball Park& Park& Ride Wells Ph 1 <br />
