offered by the Contractor is not found to be equal to the specified material, the <br /> Contractor shall furnish and install the specified material at the price set forth in the Bid <br /> As required by Section 1773 8 of the California Labor Code, the Contractor shall pay <br /> travel and subsistence payments to each worker needed to executed the Work, as such <br /> travel and subsistence payments are defined in the applicable collective bargaining <br /> agreements filed in accordance with this Section <br /> To establish such travel and subsistence payments, the representative of any craft, <br /> classification, or type of workman needed to execute the contracts shall file with the <br /> Department of Industrial Relations fully executed copies of collective bargaining <br /> agreements for the particular craft, classification or type of work involved Such <br /> agreements shall be filed within 10 days after their execution and thereafter shall <br /> establish such travel and subsistence payments whenever filed 30 days prior to the call <br /> for bids <br /> As required by Sections 1770 and following, of the California Labor Code, the Contractor <br /> ' shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the <br /> Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations Copies of such prevailing <br /> rate of per them wages are on file at the office of the city, which copies shall be made <br /> available to any interested party on request The Contractor shall post a copy of such <br /> determination at each fob site <br /> As provided in Section 1775 of the California Labor Code, the Contractor shall, as a <br /> penalty to the City, forfeit $25 00 for each calendar day, or portion thereof, for each <br /> worker paid less than the prevailing rates as determined by the Director for such work or <br /> craft in which such worker is employed for any public work done under the contract by it <br /> or by any subcontractor under it <br /> a As required under the provision of Section 1776 of the California Labor Code, each <br /> Contractor and subcontractor shall keep an accurate payroll record, showing the <br /> name, address, social security number, work classification, straight time and <br /> overtime hours worked each day and week, and the actual per diem wages paid to <br /> each journeyman, apprentice, worker, or other employee employed by him or her in <br /> connection with the public work <br /> b The payroll records enumerated in Paragraph (a), herein, shall be certified and shall <br /> be available for inspection at all reasonable hours at the principal office of the <br /> Contractor on the following basis <br /> 3, A certified copy of an employee's payroll record shall be made available for <br /> inspection or furnished to the employee or his or her authorized <br /> representative on request <br /> 2 A certified copy of all payroll records enumerated in Paragraph (a), herein, <br /> ' shall be made available for inspection or furnished upon request to a <br /> • representative of the body awarding the contract, the Division of Labor <br /> Standards Enforcement, and the Division of Apprenticeship Standards of the <br /> Department of Industrial Relations <br /> August 2001 Division IV-3 Ball Park& Park & Ride Wells Ph 1 <br />
