Former Cheaper Store Nu`mber'37 Page 2
15 East Grant Line Road October 22, 2009
Tracy, California 95376-2720
groundwater samples will be,collected from separate boringsadvanced adjacent to the
CPT boring. The EHD approves ";the collection of depth _discreet grab groundwater
samples at approximately forty to forty-five-feet and sixty-five to seventy feet bsg based on
the soundings for CPT-1 and CPT-2. Considering=the close proximity of CPT-2 to the two
proposed boring locations, the: EHD_does not think it necessary to advance-a third CPT
boring for logging purposes prior to collecting the-two proposed grab groundwater samples
from the two main sand units.
ATC proposes to.`analyze selected soil and groundwater samples collected during this
investigation and semi-annual/biennial groundwater sampling events for total petroleum
hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline. (TPH-9)'or gasoline range organics (GRO); benzene,
toluene, ethyl benzene and'total xylenes(BTEX); MTBE,.tertiary-butyl alcohol (TBA), and
tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME).
