At the completion of the assessment phase, a comprehensive report
can then be submitted to PHS/EHD detailing the complete investigation, describing the full extent of the
soil and groundwater contaminant plumes and proposing at least two active remedial alternatives
(Corrective Action Plan).
The permit for the work completed at the end of February will be left open for any additional on-site work
needed. Any off-site work or any changes in the licensed driller used for the work will require additional
permitting.
Other possible sources to the contamination plume documented at this site were discussed. PHS/EHD
cannot consider additional sources unless concise physical data clearly indicates that an off-site plume is
contributing to the contamination plume documented at this site. Should data become available that
strongly suggests that this is occurring, it should be submitted to PHS/EHD for review and concurrence.
If you have any questions regarding this letter or disagree with this summary, please contact
Linda Turkatte, REHS, of my staff at (209) 468-3441.
Jogi Khanna, M.P.H.
Health Offi
Laude A.
