' 1 <br /> T t <br /> ONA4,p�,l <br /> r r <br /> 1 <br /> 1 w 1 <br /> PQ� , qKt Rr 7�1 <br /> 1. <br /> s �vic�s <br /> October 12, 1999 <br /> Project Number 113-26-03 <br /> Mr John Johnson <br /> The Customer Company <br /> 4457 Industrial Park Road <br /> Benicia, CA 94510 <br /> Subject: Groundwater Monitoring Report, Fortner Cheaper! #37, 15 East Grant <br /> Line Road, Tracy, San Joaquin County, California <br /> Dear Mr Johnson <br /> We are forwarding this quarter's report for the subject facility at 15 East Grant Line <br /> Road, Tracy The site location is shown in Figure 1 Copies of this report will be <br /> forwarded to San Joaquin County and the Regional Water Quality Control Board at <br /> the addresses at the end of this report <br /> I Site History <br /> Two gasoline tanks were removed from the property on March 3, 1988 <br /> Groundwater was observed at 7 feet BGS (below grade surface) The tank excavation <br /> was emptied and water was sampled prior to the new tank installation Three <br /> groundwater monitoring wells were installed in April, 1988, and a fourth well in <br /> May, 1988 Water sample analysis in May, 1988, showed TPH-g (total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline) at 140 pg/L and benzene at 2 7 µg/L <br /> Monitoring well sampling was done by Parker Environmental Services in <br /> September, 1992 Free product (approximately one inch) was found in MW-4, which <br /> is by the tanks near the store front MW-2 had a soil blockage at six feet BGS TPH--g <br /> was present in MWA (220 pg/L), benzene in MWA (2 1 jig/L) and MW-3 (0 7 µg/L), <br /> toluene and xylenes in both, and ethylbenzene in MWA only <br /> The soil blockage in MW-2 was removed from the well by Parker Environmental <br /> Services in December, 1992 Evidently a cup filled with dirt was lodged in the well <br /> casing The cup was forced to the well bottom (29') and will not impair water flow to <br /> the well Well measurements taken at the same time showed the groundwater flow <br /> direction to be toward the north <br /> 190 East 7th Street • Pittsburg, CA 94565-2317 • FAX (925) 439-2566 * Phone (925) 439--1024 <br />
