Box 886 <br /> Benicia, CA 94510 <br /> Subject: Work Plan: Site Investigation, Aquifer Test, Soil Borings, Well <br /> Installation,, Soil and Groundwater Sampling at Cheaper Store #37, 15 <br /> East Grant Line Road,Tracy, San Joaquin County, CA <br /> Dear Mr Johnson, <br /> Parker Environmental Services (Parker) has prepared this work plan for <br /> environmental site investigation services at The Customer Company's store #37, 15 <br /> East Grant Lute Road, Tracy, California ("the site") The purpose of the Site <br /> Investigation project described herein is to determine the lateral extent of subsurface <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon contamination, determine the agwfer response <br /> characteristics to drawdown, and present alternatives for site remediation <br /> a <br /> The following activities comprise the scope of work- <br /> 1 submit the Work Plan and Site Safety Plan for approval by the County, <br /> 2. Hand auger up to seven soil borings to groundwater, collect one soil <br /> sample and one water grab sample per boring <br /> 3. drill 2 soil borings to 25 feet depth each for soil sampling and analysts; <br /> j install 2-mch monitoring wells into the borings (MW-5, MW-7); drill <br /> one 12" diameter boring to 25 foot depth for soil sampling and analysis; <br /> install one 6-inch diameter drawdown well into the boring <br /> 1 <br /> 4. develop and purge the new wells, perform aquifer testing using a <br /> constant rate test <br /> 5 collect seven groundwater samples for certified laboratory analysis, <br /> Recycled Paper <br /> 190 East 7th Street Pittsburg, CA 94565-2317 • FAX (510) 439-2566 a Phone (510) 439-1024 <br />
