Copies of this report should be forwarded to San.Joaquin County and � - 71 the Regional.Water.Quality.Control Board.at the addresses at the-end of this report. : L Site History " r ' Two gasoline tanks were removed.from the property on'March 3, 1988. �. . , Y. Groundwater was 7 feet.below grade surface (BGS). The .tank excavation was , , ..emptied and water was sample'd.prior to the new tank installation. Three groundwater monitoring wells were installed in April, 1988, and a fourth well in = May, 1988. Water sample analysis.in May, 19881 showed'TPH-g at 140 µg/L and benzene at 2.7µg/L, Monitoring well sampling was done by Parker Environmental Services in September, 1992. Free product (approximately one inch) was found in-MW-4, which is•by the tanks near the storefront. MW 2.had a soil blockage at six feet BGS. TPH-g 'Was present in MW-1 (220µg/:L), benzene in MW-1 (2.1 µg/L) and MW-3 (0.7 µg/L), toluene and xylenes in,•both, and ethylrenzene in MWh 4 only. The soil blockage in MW-2 was 'removed from the well by Parker Environmental :. r Services in December, 1992. Evidently a cup filled with dirt was lodged in the well casing. The cup was forced to the well bottom (29') and will not impair,water flow to. the well.
