Sasson: <br /> Iii accordance with the request from Mr. Bill Jordan, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. <br /> (AGE) has prepared this Work Plan Addendum for Excavation of Hydrocarbon Impacted <br /> Soil at 29S West Grantline Road in Trace, California. The Iocation of the site is illustrated <br /> in Fi--ure L <br /> 1.0. BACKGROUND <br /> A Work Plan submitted to the San Joaquin County Public Health Sezvices - Environmental <br /> Health Di%ision (PHS-EHD) described the excavation and sampling procedures. Soil ,,vas <br /> ewavated from near the former dispenser islands, bet-ween Tank Excavation A and Tank <br /> Excavation B (see Figure % - Site Plan), Exc,-wated soil was stockpiled on-siie on the <br /> southern and eastern portions of the property. <br /> Durin,g the initial excavation, contaminated soil was encountered beneath the former Tank <br /> Excavation A. Therefore, additional excavation %vill be required south and west of Tank <br /> Excavation A and north of the dispenser islands. <br /> 2.0. EXCAN'ATION OF ADDITIONAL SOIL <br /> AGE proposes to excavate a series of"potholes" or trenches to determine the lateral extent <br /> of impacted soil south and west of Tank Excavation A and north of the dispenser islands. <br /> Excavated soil will be screened using a photo-ionization detector (PID) for the presence of <br /> 1)-�h WO l I':A.X ,109` W;0 I1?f}(} <br />
