Based upon field screening of excavated soil, additional excavation will <br /> proceed until the lateral extent of contamination has been determined or within three feet <br /> of the property boundaries. Soil samples will be collected from the sidewalls and, if <br /> necessary, the floor of the excavation. Excavation and sampling procedures are included in <br /> the "Work Plan for Excavation of Hydrocarbon Impacted Soil" dated 10 April 1995, <br /> prepared by AGE. <br /> 3.0. STOCKPILE SOIL SA-NIPLING <br /> Samples %vill be collected from the stockpiled soil for characterization purposes. It is <br /> expected that the excavated soil \vill be transported and disposed at a licensed landfill <br /> facility. Salnpling protocol is described in the 10 April 1997 %ork plan. <br /> 4.0.
