t
Fnearest
tion of Soil and Ground Water December 4, 1989
. 698`1, Stockton, California AGS 3802-3W
e stream is the Calaveras River, approximately 1/3-mile southeast of the
site. On the basis of our previous work in Stockton,we estimate the depth to first ground
water at the site to be approximately 40 feet below grade. Ground water is inferred to have
a southeasterly gradient, using regional data supplied by California Water Service of
►l Stockton, California; however, the direction of ground-water flow beneath the site may
vary due to seasonal variations with the rise and fall of the Calaveras River and local
pumping rates.
NVELL INVENTORY
k
1
~ The approximate location of a known nearby water-supply well is shown on Plate P-1. We
obtained data regarding the Iocation of this well from California.Water Service and the
Stockton Municipal Utilities District. According to their records, only one municipal water-
supply well is within 2,000 feet of the site. This well is at the corner of Bidwell Place and
Bianchi Road, approximately 1,800 feet southeast of the site. The well is maintained by
California Water Service. City water-supply wells maintained by the Stockton Municipal
Utility District serve the area north of the site.
Ajop/led GeoSystems
