Location of the subject site is shown on the Vicinity Map (Figure 1) The current <br /> station configuration is shown on Figure 2 <br /> CURRENT QUARTER'S ACTIVITIES <br /> Field activities conducted at the subject site during the third quarter 1996 are discussed <br /> below GeoStrategres (GSI) Field Methods and Procedures are attached <br /> Monitoring and Sampling of Groundwater Monitoring Wells <br /> Groundwater monitoring wells were monitored and sampled by MPDS Services, Inc <br /> (MPDS) on July 24, 1996 Based on measurements collected by MPDS, the groundwater <br /> beneath the site appears to flow to the northeast at an approximate gradient of 0 004 <br /> (consistent with previous data) The groundwater table was approximately 0 4 feet lower <br /> than the previous quarter Groundwater samples were collected from the vapor recovery <br /> (VW) wells this quarter because rising groundwater levels have drowned the screens in the <br /> groundwater monitoring wells The Quarterly Data Report dated August 21, 1996 was <br /> submitted by MPDS to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) and <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) <br /> VES Operation <br /> The VES effluent vapor stream was sampled by Gettler-Ryan Inc (G-R) on July 30, <br /> August 30, and September 25, 1996 The samples were analyzed for TPHg and BTEX at <br /> Sequoia Analytical (Sequoia) in Redwood City, California (ELAP #1210) Copies of the <br /> Sequoia reports and chain-of-custody documents are attached <br /> 3164 Gold Camp Drive, Suite 240 Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 • (916) 631-1314 • Fax (916) 631-1317 <br />
