• Third Quarter 1996 Status Report - Unocal Station No #6981 <br /> October 31, 1996 <br /> Between June 25 and September 25, 1996 the VES operated approximately 785 hours (33 <br /> days), or 36% of the time The VES continues to have problems flaming out, and repeated <br /> efforts to correct this issue in the field have not resolved the problem. Soil vapor was <br /> extracted from wells VW-2, VW-4, and VW-5 during the third quarter 1996, as field <br /> monitoring indicated these wells had the highest hydrocarbon concentrations. The <br /> operational data are summarized on the attached tables <br /> FOURTH QUARTER 1996 SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES <br /> Groundwater monitoring wells at the site will be monitored and sampled GSI will <br /> continue to monitor VES operational parameters every two weeks.
