Based on the regulatory status and its location relative to the <br /> Site, the potential for this facility to have impacted the Site is very low. <br /> • Clean Chemical Systems Incorporated (C10) is located at 1925 N. MacArthur Boulevard, <br /> approximately 0.25 east-northeast of the Site. This site is listed in the RCRA-SQG <br /> database and no violations have been recorded for this facility on the RCRA-SQG listing. <br /> Based on the regulatory status and its location relative to the Site, the potential for this <br /> facility to have impacted the Site is very low. <br /> • Depuy Orthotech (C11) is located at 1905 N. MacArthur Boulevard, approximately 0.25 <br /> east-northeast of the Site. This site is listed in the RCRA-SQG and Hazards Network <br /> (HAZNET) databases and no violations have been recorded for this facility. Based on <br /> information provided in the HAZNET database, this site handles liquids with halogenated <br /> organic compounds at concentrations greater than 1,000 milligrams per liter (mg/L); <br /> laboratory waste chemicals; hydrocarbon solvents including benzene, hexane and <br /> Stoddard Solvent; waste and mixed oils; and aqueous solutions with less than 10% <br /> organic residues. Based on the regulatory status (no violations) and its location relative to <br /> the Site, the potential for this facility to have impacted the Site is very low. <br /> • Fortifiber Corporation (136) is located approximately 100 feet to the west of the Site <br /> (directly across the Southern Pacific Railroad Tracks). This site is recorded on the <br /> HAZNET, leaking underground storage tank (LUST), CORTESE and HIST-UST <br /> databases. According to the HAZNET database, this company handles waste and mixed <br /> oils. From the LUST database, this site had an UST that contained diesel and a leak from <br /> this tank has impacted groundwater. The leak was confirmed in 1988 and the case was <br /> closed in 1993. Based on the regulatory status, the potential for this facility to have <br /> impacted the Site is moderate. <br /> The Orphan Summary was also reviewed, and the listed facilities do not appear to be located <br /> within the specified search radii. <br /> 2.5 BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br /> 2.5.1 Site Operations <br /> The Site is currently an active PG&E service facility used to store and distribute equipment and <br /> supplies to the gas and electric crews in the area. Historical operations are identified in previous <br /> sections. <br /> 2.5.2 Site Features <br /> As shown in Figure 2, the Site is currently occupied by one large building which serves as a <br /> warehouse, office, garage, and maintenance center. The Site also encompasses a fuel island and <br /> associated aboveground storage tanks for gasoline and a large storage yard. The Site is almost <br /> entirely asphalt paved. Site topography, as a feature of the Site, was previously discussed in <br /> Section 2.2.1.
