Soil samples were collected for laboratory analyses at
five foot (51 ) intervals in each well. The' soil samples were
i
collected, sealed, chilled, and transported to a California
certified toxics laboratory. Analyses were performed for petroleum
hydrocarbons using EPA Test Methods 8015M and 8020. Groundwater
was sampled in each we" i after development and purging
approximately four (4) volumes of groundwater from each well.
Water samples were also collected from each well, sealed, chilled,
and transported to a certified toxics laboratory and analyzed for j
i
petroleum hydrocarbons using EPA Test Methods 8015M and 8020.
Analysis for fumigant vapors was performed at each well head five
• (5) days after the monitoring wells were sealed and locked. Vapors
were collected immediately after opening the well heads. The wells
were tested by insertion of a photo ionization organic vapor
analyzer approximately ten inches (1011) into the well. Immediate
and sustained vapor levels were investigated in each well.
Toxic Technology. Inc.
