The
workplan is deficient in several areas. Please address these deficiencies in
a revised workplan.
Temporary understaffing currently prevents us from overseeing cleanup of the
pipeline right-of-way adjacent to the Dividend Development properties. In the
near future, we will require the parties who caused or contributed to the
pollution to clean up the affected soils and ground water. When we do pursue
cleanup of the right-of-way, we may contact you again.
Until then, we recommend you consider,.,when planning the site's development, j
the possibility that ground water extraction or monitoring wells may be needed
in the polluted area identified in the Report of Findings. This area should
remain accessible until cleanup is complete. If you have comments or
questions, please call me at (916) 361-5653.
i
MICHAEL HIGGINS
Associate Engineer
MLH:dlc
cc: Ms. Eleanor Ratliff, San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Stockton
Dr. Adam Zipp, Ph.D. , Toxic Technology, Inc. , 3197-C Airport Loop
Road, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
i
