f
Toxic
Technology,
TT11nc.
3197-C Airport Loop Drive • Costa Mesa, California 92626 • (714) 668-1669 • FAX (714) 557-0353
August 12, 1991
Mr. Jim Medall
Dividend Development
3600 Pruneridge Avenue
Santa Clara, CA 95051
Subject: Tracy Property - North Parcel
Addendum to Report of Findings
Dear Mr. Medall:
In the original Report of Findings for the Tracy property, North
Parcel, it was reported that contamination was found in MW-2 only
(similar contamination was found in MW-13 located on the South
parcel) . Contamination was found in both the soil and the
groundwater and consisted primarily of diesel fraction (soluble
portion) believed to be from an old pipeline spill. Small amounts
of gasoline (0.4 ppm) , diesel (36 ppm) , and benzene (1. 1 ppb) were
found in the groundwater.
After the wells were developed and the initial round of groundwater
sampling was completed, MW-2 was purged of all contamination and
retested. The results of this second round of testing are enclosed
and clearly show a reduction in contamination levels in MW-2 . No
benzene or other volatile aromatics were detected and the TPH
levels were reduced to 26 ppm.
We believe that with removal of the contaminated soil, water
contamination should be significantly reduced if not eliminated
entirely.
Sincerely,
oxicATechnology,, Inc.
3 Adam P. Zipp r.D.
Chairman
APZ/cj t
Enclosure
cc: Eleanor Ratliff
Antonia Vorster
