This <br /> workplan contains a summary of the site history, proposed workscope to be completed to <br /> Lperform a subsurface investigation at the subject site in order to determine if the subsurface has <br /> _been impacted by the former underground storage tanks as required by the SJCPHS, and a <br /> Lprojected time schedule for the completion of work at Wheel Country located at 474 West Grant <br /> Line Road in Tracy, California (Figure 1). <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> The project site is located on the northeast corner of Bessie Avenue and West Grant Line Road <br /> in Tracy, California. The site location is in a primarily commercial and residential area. The <br /> property is owned by Mr. Eraclis Tsirelas. <br /> Regional groundwater flow is approximately .to the north to northeast. <br /> 1� <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> In August 1986, SEMCO general engineers of Modesto, California removed from the site three <br /> 1•� gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs) (two 2,000-gallon, and one-3,000-gallon), and one <br /> 350-gallon waste oil UST. Analysis of groundwater samples collected from the excavation <br /> L� <br /> indicated that elevated concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were present in groundwater <br /> L <br />
