Grantline Rd. <br /> Tracy, CA <br /> we are in receipt of the October 29, 1990, Addendum to Soil <br /> Excavation and Aeration Report dated October 19, 1990. This <br /> addendum clarifies field activities of August 17, 1990 in which <br /> soil beneath the septic tank was over excavated to approximately 14 <br /> feet bgs encompassing the sampling point ME-1 (10. 3 ft. ) . <br /> The confirmation sample collected (IT-41ST) and analyzed indicates <br /> no residual contaminants remain in the excavation. <br /> This letter confirms the completion of soil investigation and <br /> remedial action for the underground storage tanks at the above <br /> site. With the provision that the information provided to this <br /> agency was accurate and representative of existing conditions, it <br /> is the position of this office that no further soil remediation is <br /> required. <br /> Please be advised that this letter does not relieve you of any <br /> liability under the California Health and Safety Code or Water Code <br /> for past, present, or future operations at the site. Nor does this <br /> letter relieve you of the responsibility to clean up existing, <br /> additional or previously unidentified conditions at the site, which <br /> cause or threaten to cause pollution or nuisance or otherwise pose <br /> a threat to water quality or public health. It is also the <br /> property owner's responsibility to notify this agency of any <br /> changes in report content, future contamination findings or site <br /> usage. <br /> Clayton Environmental Consultant's letter of October 26, 1990, <br /> addressing the well abandonments, does not meet the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services Well Ordinance minimum requirements <br /> for destruction.
