Detectable concentrations of TPH-G, TPH-D, BTEX a n d <br /> ' MTBE have been identified in all or a majority of these wells. <br /> ' Y The <br /> groundwater flow direction at this site has been consistently toward the <br /> ` northwest. <br /> PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) <br /> Based on the afore-mentioned information ASE'sro <br /> p posed SOW is as <br /> follows: <br /> 1 ) Prepare a workplan and health and safety plan for review arid <br /> ' u a roval from the appropriate re u1 <br /> PPregulatory agencies. <br /> 2) Obtain a drilling ' permit from the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Division (SJCEHD). <br /> yf <br /> C <br /> 3 ) Drill six (6) soil borings at the site to approximately 15-feet below <br /> ground surface (bgs) using a Geoprobe or similar type of drill rig. <br /> Collect soil and groundwater samples from each boring for analysis. <br /> 4) Analyze each soil and .groundwater sample at a CAL-EPA certified <br /> i analytical laboratory for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> ' (TPH-G) `by modified EPA Method 5030/8015 and benzene, toluene, <br /> 1 ethylbenzene and total xylenes (collectively known as <br /> BTEX) a n d <br /> methyl. tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) by EPA Method 8020. The soil <br /> samples will also be analyzed for total lead by EPA Method 6010. <br />` 5) Backfill each boring with neat cement. <br /> 6) Prepare a report presenting the ' methods and findings of this <br /> '. assessment. <br /> .Details of the assessment are presented below. <br /> TASK 1 - PREPARE.A WORKPLAN AND HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br /> LI <br /> ASE has prepared asite-specific health and safety plan.
