i
C A M B R I A
Groundwater Flow Direction: Based on groundwater elevations measured during past quarterly
groundwatermonitoring events at the site, groundwater generally
flows northwesterly at an approximate hydraulic gradient of .
,n.:... .=,,0.005 to 0.007. Cambria will prepare a groundwater contour.
map using groundwater elevation data from the new wells along
with the existing site wells for the second quarter 2005
groundwater monitoring report.
HYDROCARBON DISTRIBUTION IN SOIL
No TPHg, BTEX, or MTBE were detected in soil samples collected from boring MW-5. No
TPHg or BTEX were detected in soil samples collected from borings MW-6,MW-7, and SB-1.
MTBE was detected in boring MW-6 at 15, 20, and 25 fbg.at concentrations of 0.27, 0.84, and
1.3 ppm, respectively. MTBE was detected in boring MW-7 at 20 fbg at a concentration of 0.017
ppm. MTBE was detected in boring S13-1 at depths of 20, 30. 60, 80, and 86 fbg at
concentrations ranging from 0.0066 to 0.39 ppm.
The soil chemical analytical data are summarized in Table 2 and the TPHg, benzene, and MTBE
results are presented on Figure 2. Laboratory analytical results are presented in Appendix.G.
HYDROCARBON DISTRIBUTION IN GROUNDWATER
Three deep grab groundwater samples were collected from boring SB=1 at depths of,52, 72, and
82 fbg. No TPHg, BTEX, MTBE, or TBA were detected in the grab groundwater samples
collected from boring SB-1. The groundwater chemical analytical data for grab groundwater
samples are summarized in Table 3,and the TPHg, benzene, and MTBE results are presented on
Figure 2. The certified laboratory analytical report is included in Appendix G.
SENSITIVE RECEPTOR SURVEY UPDATE
Cambria was able to verify the existence and location of four of the six wells documented in the
September 30, 2004 SECOR site investigation report. Two of the wells reported by SECOR
could not be located. Additionally, Cambria located two domestic wells on West Grant Line
Road and South Corral Hollow Road. We also located one well on the northeast corner of West
Grant Line Road and Naglee Road.
1661 6 1
1
