h
5.0 CONCLUSIONS
One soil boring(SB-2) and two groundwater monitoring wells (MW-9 and MW40) were
installed during this investigation.
No TPHg or benzene,,was Aetected in the soil samples collected from borings SB-2,
MW-9, and MW-10. MTBE was only detected.in soil samples collected from MW-10 at
0,0069 to 0.020 milligrams per kilogram (mg/Kg).
Historical groundwater monitoring results indicate.that the horizontal extent of TPHg,
benzene; and MTBE is adequately defined to the north by well MW=9, to the northeast
by SB-2, to the southeast by.MW-3, to the south by well MW4, and to the west by
MW-7. The extent of fuel oxygenates is not defined to the northwest as indicated by the
MTBE detection in MW-10. CRA notes that the TPHg detected in well MW-10 is likely
due to the presence of fuel oxygenates.
241661(1) .B CONESTOGA-ROVERS&ASSOCIATES
