Storage of hazardous waste on site for longer than 90 days and failed to completely label <br /> containers of hazardous waste. There is a 20 gallon metal container of brake lathe shavings with a start <br /> accumulation date of February 2012 located adjacent to the brake rotor grinding machine. There is a 55 <br /> gallon metal drum of oily solids, waste absorbent located in the oil tank room with a start accumulation <br /> date of December 2011. Both containers are missing description of hazardous properties. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name & address of generator, <br /> 3. hazardous properties ie. toxic, reactive, corrosive or flammable, 4. physical state ie. solid or liquid, <br /> 5. composition/ contents, 6. start accumulation date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all are marked with the required information. Since <br /> these containers have been on site for longer than 90 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous <br /> waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy to EHD. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspector/ Rved By.
