GeoStrateg ie5 <br /> SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION REPORT <br /> BP Oil Facility 11191 <br /> 1469 East Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Report No. 4300 701-2 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of BP Oil Company (BP), GeoStrategies/Gettler-Ryan Inc (GSI) has <br /> prepared this Subsurface Investigation Report, which describes work performed by GS1 at <br /> the subject site during the first quarter 1995 The scope of work described in this report <br />. includes drilling of three soil borings and analysis of selected soil samples for petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons The scope of work described in this report was originally presented in GS1 <br /> Report No 4300 701-1, Work Plan For Subsurface Investigation, dated November 10, <br /> 1994 The purpose of this work is to investigate the extent of a hydrocarbon release in <br /> soil located in the vicinity of the northwest product dispenser island <br /> The scope of work described in this report is intended to comply with the State of <br /> California Water Resources Control Board's Leaking Underground Fuel Tanks (LUFT) <br /> Manual, the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) Tri-Regional Board Staff <br /> Reconimendations for Piehininary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites, <br /> and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) guidelines GSI <br /> Field Methods and Procedures are attached in Appendix A <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The subject site is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Hammer Lane and <br /> West Lane in Stockton, California, as shown on the Vicinity Map (Figure 1).
