July 26, 1995 <br /> Mr. Wilbur Smith, II <br /> Vice President and General Counsel <br /> Lincoln Properties Limited <br /> 374 Lincoln Center <br /> Stockton, CA 95207 <br /> Re: Workplan for Installing Ground Water Monitoring Wells <br /> Parkwoods Shopping Center, Stockton, California <br /> Project No.: L198-G <br /> Dear Mr. Smith: <br /> In an effort to evaluate ground water quality associated with historical onsite and offsite land use at <br /> Parkwoods Shopping Center located on the 700 block of Hammer Lane in Stockton, California, we <br /> recommend that two monitoring wells be installed at the locations shown on the attached figure. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Our scope of work will consist of the following tasks: <br /> Task 1 - Prefield Activities <br /> Prior to drilling the wells, we will retain a subsurface utility locating company to clear the proposed <br /> well locations and we will apply for well installation permits from the San Joaquin County <br /> Department of Environmental Services. <br /> Task 2 - Well Installation <br /> The proposed ground water monitoring wells will be installed to a depth of approximately 50 feet <br /> below ground surface(bgs)with the screened interval extending from 35 to 50 bgs. The wells will <br /> be placed on the Parkwoods Shopping Center property at the approximate locations shown on Figure <br /> 1.
