3.1.2 PERMITS <br /> The excavation contractor will be responsible for obtaining any required permits (e.g. <br /> grading permit) from the City of Tracy and any other regulatory agencies and pay the <br /> associated fees. <br /> CRA will submit the permit registration documents (PRDs) and prepare a Storm Water <br /> Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) to obtain coverage under the Construction General <br /> Permit (CGP) Order 2009-009-DWQ,if necessary. The contractor will be responsible for <br /> implementation of the SWPPP with support from CRA. CRA will prepare and submit <br /> all related reports and submit the Notice of Termination (NOT)when appropriate. <br /> 3.1.3 SITE HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br /> CRA will prepare a Site specific health and safety plan (HASP) to be reviewed and <br /> signed by all Site workers and kept on site during all field work. The HASP will include <br /> Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for tasks applicable to the scope of work. Tailgate meetings <br /> with all site workers will be conducted each morning and at the end of each day. <br /> 3.1.4 SURVEY <br /> CRA will retain a California-licensed land surveyor to mark the discrete locations prior <br /> to excavating. The surveyor will then return after the excavations are complete to <br /> survey the final limits and verification sample locations. <br /> 3.1.5 UTILITY CLEARANCE <br /> The contractor will mark the Site and contact Underground Service Alert to clear the <br /> work area with the utility companies. A private utility locating service will be used to <br /> ensure that the proposed work areas are not in conflict with any underground utilities. <br /> Where utilities are identified, the contractor will attempt to clear the location using <br /> passive means (i.e.air knife). <br /> 060223(33) 7 CONESTOGA-ROVERS&ASSOCIATES <br />
