Mr. Laduca
June 2 , 1987
Page 2
° Conduct laboratory analysis of the two soil samples
from each boring which exhibit the highest
concentrations of hydrocarbon contamination as deter-
mined by field inspection. The samples will be
analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) by EPA
Method 3550/418 . 1 , and total volatile hydrocarbons
by EPA Method Modified/8015 .
Install monitoring wells in the three soil
borings to assess any impact on the groundwater below
the site.
° Develop and sample the three monitoring wells . The
samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydro-
carbons by EPA Method 418 . 1 , and total volatile
hydrocarbons by modified EPA Method Modified 602 .
° Provide a copy of the laboratory analysis and a copy of
a drill log showing well construction and the materials
encountered in the soil boring.
BACKGROUND
Groundwater Technology, Inc. was formed specifically to
provide consulting hydrogeologic, engineering and management
services to identify and remediate groundwater pollution
problems. Groundwater Technology, Inc. has since become a
recognized leader in aquifer restoration.
