The equipment will be cleaned prior to use, between use, and <br /> prior to leaving the site. <br /> 4.1 SOIL <br /> The decontamination process for large soil sampling equipment (drill rig and augers) will be ' <br /> accomplished by steam cleaning. The decontamination process for soil sampling equipment <br /> that is not steam cleaned (California modified sampler and brass liners) will consist of wiping <br /> C the equipment of excess soil, washing in a solution of non-phosphate detergent (Liquinox), <br /> and rinsing with deionized water. <br /> 4.2 GROUNDWATER <br /> C <br /> The decontamination process for groundwater sampling equipment will consist of washing <br /> !� in a solution of non-phosphate detergent (Alconox), and rinsing with deionized water. <br /> !, 4.3 PERSONNEL <br /> C <br /> At a minimum, personnel decontamination will consist of removing contaminated clothing <br /> and washing the skin with detergent and water to remove contaminants.
