Beacon Station No 1641 July 10,2003 ` Stockton_ California _ __ Preliminary Results Report and Work Pian Addendum interval at approximately 70 feet bsg The pore-dissipation test indicated the groundwater level was approximately 46 feet bsg at the time of this investigation Analytical results of CPT/hydropunch groundwater samples are summarized in Table 2 Analytical reports and COC documents are contained in Appendix D Concentrations of toluene, xylenes, MTBE, and TBA were reported in soil samples collected from soil boring B-5 as summarized in Table 2 No TPHg, benzene, ethylbenzene, methanol, ethanol or lead scavengers were reported in the soil samples , Concentrations of TPHg, BTEX compounds and MTBE were reported in the groundwater samples collected at 100 feet and 135 feet bsg from soil boring B-5 Concentrations of MTBE were reported in the groundwater samples collected at the water table (46 feet bsg) from soil borings B-6 and B-7 and at 75 feet bsg from soil boring B-6 Concentrations of TPHg MTBE and TBA were reported the groundwater sample collected at the water table • from soil boring B-8 No analytes were reported in the groundwater samples collected at 70 and 100 feet bsg from soil boring B-8 No methanol, ethanol, DCA or EDB was reported in any groundwater sample PROPOSED MONITORING WELL INSTALLATIONS Results of the CPT investigation indicate that a groundwater sample collected at a depth of 130 feet bsg in the soil boring B-5 area contained petroleum hydrocarbons The lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon groundwater impacts at the water table are not delineated at the soil boring B-7 and B-8 locations The vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon groundwater impacts are delineated at 70 feet bsg at the soil boring B-7 and B-8 locations The lateral and vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon groundwater impacts are adequately delineated at the soil boring B-6 location WPaddnm7-03 Project No 1641 16 6 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC
