b <br /> -A&,jHORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC. <br /> Specialists sn Site Assessment Remedial Testing Design and Operation <br /> May 30, 2000 <br /> Mr Joe Aldridge <br /> Ultramar Inc <br /> 525 West Third Street <br /> Hanford, California 93230 <br /> Subject Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> First Quarter— 2000 <br /> Beacon Station No 641 <br /> 1210 East Hammer Lane, Stockton, California <br /> Mr Aldridge <br /> Horizon Environmental, Inc (Horizon) has prepared this Quarterly Groundwatei iVlomtorirg <br /> Report documenting the results of the first quarter 2000 groundwater monitoring at the <br /> subject site located in Stockton, California (Figure 1) There are currently five groundwater <br /> monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-5), eight vapor wells (VW-1 through VW-8) and one <br />• sparge well (SW-1) at the site (Figure 2) All wells are located on site except for mon Itorailia <br /> well MW-2 <br /> Groundwater Nlonitoring <br /> Groundwater monitoring activities were conducted by Doulos Environmental Company <br /> (Doulos) on March 1, 2000 Monitoring activities included measurement of static <br /> groundwater level, purging groundwater from the wells, collection of groundwater samples, <br /> and preparation and delivery of the samples to the analytical laboratory Vapor wells VW-2, <br /> VW-4, VW-6 and VW-8 were dry and, consequently, were not sounded or sampled during <br /> this monitoring event Ultramar Inc (Ultramar) Field Procedures are presented as <br /> Attachment A, and Doulos Sampling Information Sheets are included as Attachment B <br /> The depth to groundwater was measured to the nearest 0 01 foot from the top-of-casing <br /> (TQC) in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-5, sparge well SW-1 and vapor wells VW-1, <br /> VW-3, VW-5 and VW-7 Depth-to-groundwater measurements were subtracted from the <br /> surveyed TOC elevations to calculate static groundwater elevations Field groundwater <br /> level data were recorded on the Doulos Groundwater Level Data and Sampling Information <br /> Sheets and are summarized in Table 1 <br /> Field groundwater monitoring well purge data are included on Doulos Sampling Information <br /> Sheets The physical parameters conductivity, pH and temperature were monitored with <br /> 5011 Golden foothill Parkway Suite 7 • EI Dorado Hills CA 95762 - (916) 939-2170 • FAX (916) 939-2172 <br /> PO Box 5283 • Bakersfield CA 93388 • (661) 589-8389 • FAX (661) 589-1456 <br />
