HAMMER LANE, STOCKTON CA 95210
Dear Ms. Ratliff,
All that remains to receive closure on the above client' s under-
ground tank removal and remediation activity, is to sample the
soil around the used oil drain pipes located inside the building.
Our client would like to proceed with this process after receiv-
ing approval from you for our plan. Prior to submitting a formal
plan, I would like your comments on the following proposal.
0UTLINE
One (1) underground used oil tank and one (1) underground gaso-
line tank were removed at subject location. Soil samples indi-
cated ground contamination. Subsequent work plans were approved
and work was completed according to County and State guidelines.
The area in and around the tanks has been completely remediated.
Two lengths of steel galvanized pipe were connected to the used
the used oil storage tank for the purpose of draining used oil
from the shop into the tank by gravity. The pipes are located
under approximately six (6) inches of concrete.
The State of California Water Resources Board is requiring that
the area around the pipes be tested to ensure that the soil is
clean.
