Additional Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> CONTIGROUP COMPANIES, INC. <br /> 1805 Harbor Street, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Huff&Huff,Inc.,(H&H),Advanced Geo Environmental,Inc. (AGE)has prepared <br /> the enclosed Additional Site Assessment Work Plan for the property located at 1805 Harbor Street, <br /> Stockton,California(site).As directed by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EI-ID) by letter dated 10 October 2007 (Appendix A), the proposed scope of work includes the <br /> installation of three ground water monitoring wells for vertical and lateral delineation of the <br /> petroleum-hydrocarbon-impacted ground water plume to the east and northeast, and advancement <br /> of soil-vapor probe borings around the former underground storage tank (UST) excavation area to <br /> assess the potential for intrusion of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil-vapor to indoor air in a <br /> modeled building at the former UST location. <br /> This work plan was prepared in accordance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board(CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites. The <br /> location of the site and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1;site structures and monitoring <br /> well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information,including details of previous <br /> site investigations and site conditions, is included in Appendices A and B. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of work includes the advancement of three pilot soil borings for the installation of ground <br /> water monitoring wells, and advancement of four soil-vapor probe borings for collection of soil- <br /> vapor samples. The scope of work consists of the following tasks: <br /> • Pennitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • Drilling of monitoring well boreholes, with soil sample collection; <br /> • Monitoring well installation. development and survey; <br /> • Soil-sample analysis; <br /> • Geoprobe advancement and soil-vapor sample collection; <br /> • Soil-vapor sample analysis; and <br /> • Preparation a report of findings, with conclusions and recommendations. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
