GRANITE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br /> WKA No 2088 06 <br /> October 12, 1994 <br /> Page 6 <br /> Soil Boring Investigation <br /> In addition to the two monitoring wells, one soil boring will by drilled in the southwest vicinity <br /> of the former gasoline and diesel USTs, southwesterly between soil borings B16 and B17 (Plate <br /> 2) The bormg will be drilled to an anticipated depth of 25 feet below grade, and soil samples <br /> will be screened and sampled as described above Once sampling is complete, the boring will be <br /> sealed to the surface with a cement/bentonite slurry Selected samples will be analyzed for one <br /> or more of the following TPH, BTEX, and Total Lead Soil generated from the drilling <br /> procedures will be stored in sealed and labeled, 55-gallon drums and stored on site <br /> Well Survey <br /> A Department of Water Resources (DWR) private, municipal, and irrigation well survey will be <br /> conducted to evaluate potential well influences within a 2,000 foot radius of the site, as well as, a <br /> survey of nearby site influences such as irrigation canals, creeks, and rivers <br /> REPORTING <br /> Upon completion of the field work and the laboratory testing, a report will be prepared which <br /> will include <br /> • a site plan showing all monitoring well locations <br /> • well boring logs <br /> • monitoring well construction details <br /> • laboratory test results with chain-of-custody documentation <br /> • conclusions regarding ground water quality, flow direction, and gradient <br /> beneath the site <br /> 10 • recommendations for further investigation, if necessary <br /> WALLACE KUHL <br /> e,ty,Ldjwjw, E.ASSOGIATES INC <br />
