VWntec Quarterly Status Summary Report—Fourth Quarter 2011 76(Former BP) Service Station No. 11193 January 31, 2012 Transportation (Cal-Trans), which was screened from approximately 214 ft to 350 ft below ground surface, and located approximately 315 ft west of the site. According to Cambria, the Cal-Trans well had been destroyed in preparation for reconfiguration of the Interstate 5 and Hammer Lane interchange. According to Mr. Witzak Gilon of the City of Stockton Municipal Water System (CSMWS), there were no CSMWS water supply wells located within the 2,000- foot search radius. Monitoring and Sampling No monitoring and sampling was performed during 4Q11. In an email correspondence dated September 29, 2011, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) approved the suspension of monitoring and sampling of the well network pending site closure. Current Assessment Activities Between the dates of December 5, 2011 and January 18, 2012, with the exception of MW-7, Stantec observed WDC Exploration and Wells of Zamora, California (WDC) properly destroy the well network associated with the site. Remediation Status There is no active remediation present at the site. Characterization Status Petroleum hydrocarbon impact in the soil and groundwater has been adequately delineated by the existing well network and previous site assessment activities. Waste Disposal Summary Ninety-two drums containing soil and destruction debris were produced during well construction activities. The drums are being temporarily stored onsite pending characterization and will be removed from the site by Belshire Environmental Services Inc. and transported to an approved facility for disposal_ Waste manifest documentation will be submitted under separate cover. Recent Correspondence In a correspondence dated October 19, 2011, the SJCEHD issued a No Further Action directive pending the destruction of the well network associated with the site. This Quarter's Activities (Fourth— 2091) 1. Stantec submitted the QMR - 3Q11 on October 31, 2011. 2. Stantec submitted Well Destruction Work Plan on October 31, 2011. 3. In a correspondence dated November 10, 2011, the SJCEHD conditionally approved Stantec's Well Destruction Work Plan. 4. On December 12, 2011, Stantec, SJCEHD, and WDC conducted a site visit to determine the safest method of destruction of each well. In an email correspondence later that same day, SJCEHD approved Stantec's proposed methods of well destruction discussed earlier that day. 5. Between the dates of December 5, 2011 and January 18, 2012, with the exception of MW-7, Stantec observed WDC properly destroy the well network associated with the site.
