A summary of previous <br /> investigations and site history is included as Attachment A. <br /> In a letter dated May 24,2007,and in an extension of submittal letter dated July 25,2007,San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD)directed Atlantic Richfield Company and COP to <br /> submit a work plan to conduct a vertical assessment of groundwater contamination beneath the site, <br /> and define the lateral extent of groundwater contamination downgradient of monitoring wells MW-11 <br /> and MWA 2 (Attachment B). y <br /> PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The proposed scope of work will consist of the installation of one on-site deep groundwater <br /> monitoring well (MW-13)that will be completed in the .water-bearing zone in the vicinity of the <br /> USTs, and two off-site groundwater monitoring wells MW-14 and MW-15 of the site to an <br /> approximate depth of 30 feet below ground surface (bgs). A summary of the planned field work is <br /> presented below. Field and laboratory procedures are provided in Attachment A. G <br /> • Health and Safety Plan (HASP).
