Revised Work Plan for Additional Groundwatednvestigation <br /> Quik Stop Market No. 132 <br /> 3555 West Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton,California <br /> In a letter to Quik Stop Markets Inc., dated April 1, 1997, the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services Environmental Health Division stated the that "the only remaining issue at the site is the <br /> �l MTBE currently being detected in Monitoring Well MW-5". The San Joaquin County Public <br /> �! Health Services Environmental Health Division recommended the sampling of only Monitoring <br /> Well MW-5 for future quarterly monitoring events, therefore, no other groundwater monitoring <br /> wells at the site were sampled during the first quarter 1998 sampling event. However, in a letter <br /> to Quik Stop Markets Inc. dated April 27, 1998, the San Joaquin County Public Services <br /> Environmental Division requested that "each quarter sample and analyze water from all of the <br /> �] MWs until further direction from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental <br /> u Health Division". <br /> WELL SURVEY <br /> Per the request of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division, <br /> ATC conducted a well survey to locate any domestic, municipal, and agricultural wells within <br /> 2,000 feet of Quik Stop No. 132. <br /> On September 1, 1998, ATC reviewed the well records of the State of California, Department of <br /> Water Resources - Central Division, ATC's review of well records revealed that two wells were <br /> within 2,000 feet of Quik Stop No. 132. The locations of the wells are shown on Figure 3. A <br /> summary of the well construction detail for the wells is shown below. <br /> Table 1. No wells were reported within 2,000 feet of Quik Stop No.132 by <br /> any of the above listed water purveyors. <br /> On September 21, 1998, ATC reviewed the aerial photograph archives of Pacific Aerial Surveys <br /> in Oakland, California, in order to attempt to locate wells within 2,000 feet of Quik Stop No. 132. <br /> ATC reviewed available photographs from the following years: 1996, 1994, 1992, 1991, 1990, <br /> 1985, 1979, and 1968.
