The site pian (Figure 2) shows the location of the station building, adjacent streets,
monitoring wells, and other site-specific features.
The monitoring wells have been sampled quarterly to monitor two shallow groundwater aquifers
underlying the site. The program scope of work is as follows:
r • Measure depth of groundwater;
+ Analyze groundwater samples for select petroleum hydrocarbon constituents;
• Construct groundwater elevation contour maps within the study area boundaries; and
• Compare current and past data.
i
2.0 GROUNDWATER SAMPLING
' On March 6, 2003, in accordance with ATC's Field Protocol (Appendix A), groundwater samples were
collected from on-site groundwater monitoring wells MWAR, MW-2, MWA, MW-4, MW-5, and off-
site groundwater monitoring wells MW-6, MW-7, MW-8, MW-9 and MW-10. Groundwater purged
from the wells and equipment decontamination water was placed in Department of Transportation (DOT)
approved drums. The contents of the drums were transported by a licensed hauler for disposal at a
licensed waste treatment site. The volume of groundwater removed from the wells and other measured
sampling parameters are noted on the water sampling logs included in Appendix B.
3.0 LABORATORY ANALYSIS
The groundwater samples were transported to STL Chromalab Analytical Labs, Inc., a state-certified
' laboratory, located in Pleasanton, California. The groundwater samples were analyzed for the presence
of total petroleum hydrocarbon compounds in the gasoline range (TPH-G), benzene, toluene, ethyl
benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX), five fuel oxygenates, 1,2-Dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) and ethylene
dibromide (EDB) in accordance with USEPA Method 8260B. Copies of the laboratory analytical report
and chain-of-custody record are provided in Appendix C.
Quarterly GW Monitoring Report-2°d Qtr 2003
Quik Stop No. 132
v Quik Stop Markets, Inc.
J 7ROJECTS411IK STOP 1JKT=S t321Reparts@00312M 012613Rp1 ATC Project No.75.62503.3204
October 30,2003
Page 1 of 3
