approximately 700 feet to the south, cross-gradient of the subject site. The surface body locations
. are shown on Figure 1.
_Water Well Survey: The California Department of Water Resources records were reviewed in
order to determine the location of domestic and production wells within a 2,000 foot radius of the
subject site. One domestic well was identified, and is listed in Table 2 and its location is shown
on Figure 1. This well is located approximately 500 feet east of the subject site near the
intersection of Interstate 5 and West Hammer Lane. The well is used for farm operations
including a source of water for a labor camp. This well is located cross-gradient of the subject
site. Due to the low gradient it is not likely that the well would be affected by a hydrocarbon
plume. The third quarter 2005 Groundwater Monitoring Report, dated September 30, 2005,
analytical report shows MtBE at non-detectable levels in MW-9 and MW-10, the eastern most
monitoring wells.
CONCLUSIONS
Three of the four sensitive receptors are located cross-gradient of the subject site. The other
sensitive receptor is located up-gradient. One domestic water well, located to the east of the
subject site, is cross-gradient. Two surface water bodies, Mosher Slough and a lined community
pond were identified within the area surveyed. The North-South arm of Mosher Slough is located
to the west and northwest up-gradient of the site. The community pond is located to the south of
the site and is located cross gradient. The current groundwater flow direction in the survey area,
based on the last four quarters of groundwater monitoring, is to the southeast. It is not probable
that a petroleum hydrocarbon release could flow toward and enter Mosher Slough. It is not
probable that a petroleum hydrocarbon release could enter the concrete lined community pond
due to the low gradient in the vicinity and due to the lining of the pond acting as a barrier.
The single domestic well located within 2,000 feet of the subject site, is located cross-gradient of
the subject site. Due to the low gradient of the area it is not likely that the well would be affected
by a hydrocarbon plume.
If you have any questions regarding the contents of this report please do not hesitate to contact
me at(925)460-5300.
Sincerely,
ATC Associates
f
aWeber, PhD Stephanie Davi
Sr. Project Geologist Staff Geologist
Attachments: Site Vicinity Map
Site Map
Sensitive Receptor Table
Well Table
Sensitive Receptor Survey October 24,2045
Quik Stop #132 Page 2 of 2
3555 W.Hammer Lane
Stockton,CA
