The initial groundwater results from samples collected on Apni 30,
1996 indicated groundwater contamination had been significantly reduced, possibly as a l
result of the unsaturated conditions and enhanced aeration of the residual soil contamination. 4
Also, confirmatory groundwater samples were collected on August 1, 1996. I
i
'I
Please submit 10 copies of a closure summary report which includes all soil and groundwater
results obtained at the site, including the August 1, 1996 analytical results and which contains
the information outlined in the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board's
Appendix B.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Mary Meays at (209) 468-0337. l
'I l
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Mary Meays, Senior RENS —MargarrLagorio, RE
Site Mitigation Unit Supervisor
F
MM\45HARD
cc: Elizabeth Thayer, CVRWQCB
I I
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
I
