i
45 East Harding
Page 2,
F
Soils Exploration Services is permitted to drill on site under permit #6150 through
May 26, 1996. Should you wish to employ another contractor, please submit a permit
i application and $89 fee to obtain a drilling permit. Also, when you have completed
evaluation of potential off site sources and wish to install an additional off site well,r
please proceed with obtaining off site access agreements and once obtained submit a
permit application and $89 fee.
PHS/EHD concurs with the proposed remediation schedule as it correlates closely
with the compliance schedule established at the December 7, 1995 meeting. I
PHS/EHD appreciates your cooperation to address soil and groundwater
contamination which resulted from Chevron's operation of former underground
storage tanks. Please note that site closure will be granted once soil cleanup goals
are achieved, whereby residual soil contamination will no longer pose a threat to
degrade groundwater and groundwater cleanup goals are reached. Closure data will
be generated through confirmation soil and groundwater sampling.
If you have any questions, do not, hesitate to contact Mary Meays at (209) 468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director {
Environmental Health Division
iu
Mary Meays, Senior REHS Diane M.
