A minimum
of three monitoring wells are needed to determine groundwater gradient. Since
only one of the existing monitoring wells contains groundwater, the installation of
two additional groundwater monitoring wells will provide data necessary to
calculate groundwater gradient. The installation of an additional vapor extraction
well will further characterize soil contamination and aid in the site's remediation.
Field work may begin after receipt of a permit application, the $89.00 fee and
issuance of the drilling permit. Please notify Mary Meays, REHS, of my staff at
(209) 468-0337, 48 hours prior to beginning field work.
Jogi Khan M.P.H.
Health r
urie A.
