It was eventually determined that the <br /> dontaminants had migrated beyond the limits of safe and feasible <br /> fiver excavation. At this point we were advised to back fill <br /> Che hole with the Soils .that had been removed. <br /> The soil was placed in the hole in approximate 12" Lifts <br /> knd compacted with a vibratory, rifle on, sheeps foot compactor. <br /> The imported material used to replace the volume the tanks <br /> 1 had occupied was pea ,gravel up. to approximately 24" from surface, <br /> with the top layer-being compacted 3/4" AB road .base gravel . <br /> Please advise if you need any further information relative <br /> to this project. <br /> !
