07 December 2004
AGE-NC Project No. 04-1233
Page 2 of 4
for 60 feet. Each boring will be advanced to approximately 4 feet below surface grade into native
soil directly underneath each sampling area. The last interval will be 25 feet, and coincide with the
end of each leach line. The end of leach line samples will be advanced to 27 feet with soil samples
collected at five foot intervals starting at five feet. If groundwater is encountered a water sample will
be collected and analyzed. The proposed boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2. The proposed
boring locations may be modified due to exact location of septic system, and requests of SJCEHD.
Soil samples and water sample if collected;will be submitted for laboratory analysis. The samples
will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services(DHS)certified laboratory
for the following constituents:
• Total recoverable petroleum hydrocarbons(TRPH)in accordance with EPA Method 8015m,
carbon chain C-4 through C-44;
• Methamphetamine(HPLC/MS/MS);
• Chloride in accordance with EPA Method 300.0;
• Full scan 8260b, reporting all peaks; and
• pH in accordance with EPA Method 150.1.
Laboratory reports for soil analysis, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control
(QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report of
findings and recommendations.
3.4. REPORT PREPARATION
Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared
presenting the findings of the investigation. The report will include a description of the work
performed including diagram of septic system, location of sampling points and results of the
sampling and analysis.Conclusions and applicable recommendations will be included in the report.
The report will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist.
4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES
All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of California
Registered Geologist. Procedures for the advancement of soil borings, soil sampling, equipment
decontamination, sample shipment, and boring abandonment are outlined below.
Adrmred GmEnvironmentnl,Inc
