i
Ron Valinoti, Director
Environmental Health Division
August 14, 1990
Page 2
From the very first indication there was a possible leakage problem at our tank site our
office has done everything your staff has required of us. All testing and reports were done
at the request of your department, therefore it is difficult to understand why we are being
penalized for not having a sample from the original pipeline trench. Our Maintenance
Department has been dealing directly with this problem and can supply you with some of
the names of your staff members with whom they have had conversations from the
beginning of this incident. We also have daily log reports on each of our tanks that will i
show-there is no leakage, apparent over the past year and a half.
Taking these facts into account, I am requesting that Lincoln Unified School District be
taken off the contaminated list.
Sincerely,
Arnie Gla her
Assistant Superintendent for Busi ss
cc: Lori Casias, State Water Resources Control Board
Jogi Khanna, MD, MPH Health Officer
Allan Patterson,Director
E
L
