S <br /> CHRONOLOGY <br /> "Gemelos/Paladin Center" Site Code: 1412 <br /> 2421 Holly Drive, Tracy. CA. RO#: 000254 <br /> LOP Groundwater site — 35.26 <br /> 04/11/88 Two (2) 10,000 gallon steel UST removed today along with 120 cubic <br /> yards of soil. PHS-EHD onsite for inspection and soil (9' bgs) and grab <br /> groundwater sampling. No holes noted in USTs but groundwater entered <br /> the pit as USTs removed and grab groundwater sample taken. No <br /> notation as to disposition soil or piping. <br /> 06/28/88 UST tracking records, waste oil manifest, and soil/gw lab data received <br /> today. Soil from below UST non-detect for TPHg, TPHd, BTX, (no <br /> Ethylbenzene analyzed), EDB, MO, and Kerosene. Tetra-ethyl lead at 5.0 <br /> mg/kg for "#1 soil". Groundwater grab sample high with TPHg @130,000 <br /> pg/l, Benzene @ 700 µg11, and Xylene @ 19,000 µg/l. TPHd, E, EDB, and <br /> lead NOT analyzed for in groundwater. <br /> 06/30/88 UAR and Prop 65 (#88-119) filed for site. Referred to Unit IV/LOP for <br /> further investigation. <br /> 10/27/95 Site placed into LOP as adjacent site (15 E. Grantline) undergoes it's <br /> offsite groundwater investigation. NOR and site letter sent with <br /> requirement to investigate. <br /> 01/23/96 PHS-EHD holds meeting with Mr. Gemelos to discuss course of action for <br /> site's requirement to investigate the petroleum in the groundwater. <br /> 05/15/96 Advanced GeoEnvironmental (AGE) submits work plan to install three (3) <br /> monitoring wells onsite plus one additional soil boring. PHS-EHD <br /> approves work plan on 5-29-96. <br /> 07/02/96 Soil borings "B-1 thru B-4" placed today under permit issued by PHS-EHD. <br /> B-1 not completed as monitoring well, but groundwater grab sample <br /> collected. B-2 becomes MW-3, B-3 becomes MW-2, and B-4 becomes <br /> MWA. Each monitoring well constructed of two-inch PVC casings with <br /> ten feet of 0.020" screened interval placed 4' to 14' bgs. DTW at 6' bgs. <br /> Field notes and boring logs indicate "strong HC odor' in B-1 and B-2 from <br /> 8.5' bgs to total depth of 10' bgs, while B-3 and B-4 indicate only "slight <br /> HC odors" for same intervals. <br /> 07/11/96 First groundwater-monitoring event held today. <br />
