One 55-gallon container is labeled "used antifreeze". One 55-gallon drum was labeled "used oil <br /> only." One 55-gallon drum next to the paint booth was labeled "flammable liquid"and "emty filter." The <br /> manager stated that the drum contains used paint filters. All hazardous waste containers shall be <br /> marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since it cannot be determined how long the containers of waste paint booth filters, oil and <br /> antifreeze have been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this <br /> waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by October 21, 2010. Repeat <br /> violation from August 16, 2004. <br /> 27. One 55-gallon poly drum of waste antifreeze south of the office was not closed. All hazardous waste x <br /> containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these <br /> containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> Repeat violation from August 16, 2004. <br /> Notice to Comply ✓ <br /> 23. A 55-gallon drum of used oil filters did not have an accumulation start date. The manager stated that <br /> the auto repair operation started a few months ago. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof <br /> container, labeled as "drained used oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately <br /> add the accumulation start date and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. Recycle <br /> within one year of initial accumulation and keep the bill of lading recycling receipt for three years. <br /> 50. One 55-gallon poly drum full of waste coolant south of the office had an accumulation start date of <br /> 3-31-08. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed <br /> 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately <br /> contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of <br /> the manifest to the EHD by October 21,2010. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY By THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE($122). <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Ins Received By: Title: <br /> EHD 2 3 ReveEHe/1 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
