ACCESS AND CIRCULATION: The following requirements apply and shall be shown on the Site Plan: (1) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than twenty-five (25) feet for two-way aisles and sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles, except that in no case shall driveways designated as fire department access be less than twenty(20)feet wide. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed. No spillover beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) The existing vegetation design is permitted and shall be incorporated into the site plan review. This satisfies the landscaping requirement. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, shall be screened so as not to be visible from adjacent properties and public rights-of-way. TRIBAL CULTURAL RESOURCES: The applicant shall retain a qualified archaeologist to conduct testing of the proposed construction area for potential cultural resources, including tribal cultural resources. If any subsurface historical, archaeological, or paleontological resources, including human burials and associated funerary objects,are encountered during construction,all construction activities within a 50-foot radius of the encounter shall be immediately halted until a qualified archaeologist and/or paleontologist can examine these materials, initially evaluate their significance and, if potentially significant, recommend measures on the disposition of the resource. The project applicant shall be immediately notified in the event of a discovery, and if burial resources or tribal cultural resources are discovered, the project applicant shall notify the appropriate Native American representatives. The contractor shall be responsible for retaining qualified professionals, implementing recommended mitigation measures and documenting mitigation efforts in written reports to the project applicant.
