Item No . <br /> PC : 1-22-87 <br /> MS-87-33 <br /> Page 1 <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> It is recommended that the Planning Commission: <br /> 1 . Approve the Negative Declaration and direct the Clerk to file <br /> a Notice of Determination; and <br /> 2 . Approve the Major Subdivision based on the Findings in the <br /> staff report and subject to the Conditions of Approval noted <br /> in the staff report . <br /> FINDINGS FOR MAJOR SUBDIVISION <br /> 1 . The proposed map is consistent with applicable General and <br /> Specific Plans because it will meet industrial policies <br /> regarding provision for all public services and is compatible <br /> with the Limited Industrial land use designation. No <br /> Specific Plan is involved. <br /> 2 . The design or improvement of the proposed division is con- <br /> sistent with applicable General and Specific Plans because <br /> the subdivision conforms with Code provisions regarding area, <br /> width, and access requirements . No Specific Plan is involved. <br /> 3 . The site is physically suitable for the type of development <br /> because the project site is relatively level and can accom- <br /> modate the development as proposed, provided all improvements <br /> are constructed to conform with the County Flood Ordinance . <br /> 4 . The site is physically suitable for the proposed density of <br /> development because all parcels will be provided with full <br /> public services, and there is no minimum parcel size or den- <br /> sity in the industrial zones . <br /> 5 . The design of the subdivision or the proposed improvements <br /> are not likely to cause substantial environmental damage or <br /> substantially and avoidably injure fish or wildlife because , <br /> based on an Initial Study, no significant impacts were iden- <br /> tified. <br /> 6 . The design of the subdivision or the type of improvements is <br /> not likely to cause serious public health problems because <br /> the subdivision will be required to be served with public <br /> water , sewer , and storm drainage services , and all proposed <br /> developments will require Local Health District review. <br /> 7 . The design of the subdivision or the type of improvements <br /> will not conflict with easements , acquired by the public at <br />
