Facility <br /> 230 Industrial Avenue <br /> Ripon, CA 95366 <br /> Dear Mr. Brownell: <br /> On behalf of Nestle USA, Inc. (Nestle), Environmental Cost Management, Inc. (ECM) <br /> has prepared this Second Quarter 2011 Site Status Report for the former Nestle facility <br /> located at 230 Industrial Avenue (Site) in Ripon, California (Figure 1). This report <br /> presents the results of groundwater monitoring performed from April through June 2011. <br /> The field work performed throughout the Study Area (Figure 2) during the Second <br /> Quarter 2011 for the monitoring program is summarized below. <br /> • On April 4, 2011, ECM measured water levels in 123 wells. <br /> • On April 4, 2011, ECO:LOGIC Engineering measured water levels for nine City of <br /> Ripon piezometers, 11 City of Ripon municipal wells, and three monitoring wells. <br /> • On April 4, 2011, Lawrence & Associates measured water levels for 11 Diamond <br /> Pet Food wells. <br /> • Between April 8 and June 24, 2011, ECM collected samples from: <br /> • One-hundred and fourteen Nestle wells (103 wells using Passive Diffusion <br /> Bags, four grab samples from extraction wells, and seven wells with <br /> dedicated pumps), <br /> • Nine City of Ripon production wells (grab sample from sampling port), <br /> • One well owned and operated by the California Department of <br /> Transportation (Caltrans), <br /> • Five Diamond Pet Food wells, and <br /> 1 <br />
