RI Six is currently being reviewed by the California EProtection oon On A erncy, <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valle Region (RWQCB). <br /> 1993, the RWQCB issued a cleanup and abatement order (Order 93-712) to Nestle Foods, Inc. <br /> Nestle Foods, Inc. is in compliance with the RWQCB cleanup and abatement order. Victor IzzO <br /> is the current RWQCB project manager of the site. <br /> The Nestle Foods, Inc. site is considered by the RWQCB to be a source of trichloroethylene <br /> (TCE) contamination of groundwater. However, other sources of TCE contamination of <br /> groundwater in the Ripon area may exist. Historical-sewer system disposal practices and an <br /> aboveground TCE storage tank formerly used on site are the onsite sourcesof T E The former <br /> ed <br /> aboveground storage tank was located in the decaffeination building. <br /> Thereuse of perchloroethylene (PCE) on site.
