4.0 Payment to Contractor <br /> The Contractor shall provide an itemized invoice of work completed <br /> delineating the quantity of work Co�pleted for each bid ite�im. This <br /> invoice shall be delivered to °P -c. nn engineer) <br /> by the 10th day of the month following completion. The invoice will <br /> be submitted to the Owner, after approval by the Engineer, for <br /> payment. The Owner will be responsible for the direct payment to <br /> the Contractor. <br /> 5.0 Contract Time <br /> The work shall commence not later than days after Notice to <br /> Proceed has been issued to the Contractor by the Engineer. Once <br /> work is underway, Contractor shall pursue diligent completion of the <br /> work and shall not cause his equipment to be removed from the site <br /> prior to completion of the work without prior written approval from <br /> the Engineer. <br /> 6.0 Compliance with Regulations <br /> Contractor shall be responsible for compliance with applicable OSHA <br /> regulations and is expected to complete the work in a safe manner. <br /> Contractor shall not cause the discharge of contaminated water, <br /> drilling additives, or oil to any surface water body. The <br /> Contractor shall also comply with all of the Owner's rules and <br /> regulations concerning work while on site. Failure of Contractor's <br /> personnel to comply with such rules and regulations may be grounds <br /> for their expulsion from the project site.
